Hehe.. this is a bit overdue, hey? So this site is sort of... dead. Just sort of sizzled out. For our affiliates: Feel free to remove our banner or affi our new site. For our members: I hope to see you on the new site. It's called Demon in my View. Yeah, I linked back on our affis and adverts with the whole "DiMV; A Feline RPG". It's a feline roleplay. Unlike this roleplay which is fantasy and demons, this is a relatively real roleplay revolving more about them worshiping gods and sinning, so God punishes them with the second plague.

We are now open! With a bit of work and alot of help (-cough-thankyouspyder-cough-) The Sacrifice is now ready for members. All we need to do now is get the members here. Again, thanks for the help Spyder. I'm not sure how I would have done this without you =D

I'm officially re-making the site. Right Mistake is no more. From now on we are now known as The Sacrifice. Most of the site will stay the same, just a little bit of altering. Instead of cats, it's a dog roleplay. I would like to officially thank Spyder for making our beautiful banner and mini-banner. (Spyder recieves +10 karma)
»Plot«

I edged across the dark alley, unsure of what lied ahead of my own paws. The moon hid behind dark, heavy sheets of cloud. Not one human or rat seemed to wander the streets that night. I shivered at the thought of where they had disappeared. Without a sound, I rounded the corner. I tensed as I saw a pair of feet before me. I looked up into the eyes of a large man. I knew what was to await me.

It was so many years ago when the experiments began. It was a time when science was most important; a time when we had lost all traces of our humanity. Animals of all sorts were captured, the majority of experiments performed on the canines. We wanted to create a master race of animals, with everyone’s reasons differing. Some wanted larger pets, others wanted more food and others just wanted to fool around, but no one wanted what was to come...

I shriveled in fear as masked people, at least six, gathered around me to hold me down. One of the taller men pulled a needle full of liquid from his blood-covered white lab coat. I let out a yowl, jerking and kicking to try to escape the grasp of those hands. But my attempts fell short as I departed into unconsciousness. I wouldn’t wake up the same…

We had created something no one thought possible. These creatures we once called animals changed before our very eyes. No one knew what to expect when they looked into the cages next. It was soon that no one dared to feed the mongrels, afraid to dare look into those hypnotizing eyes. These dogs were like demons, and our torturing only made them angry.

I barked furiously at the gates of this cell along side the bodies of both the dead and living. I didn’t feel like myself anymore. All I wanted, all I felt was blood and rage. I could smell the hot blood flowing through the veins of the masked people, the only thing holding me back was the metal bars that imprisoned us. When one of our own had fallen, we feasted on their remains. I licked over my chewed lips at the sudden smell of approaching humans. Something was about to happen.

We had no other choice. The animals had become a serious threat. There was no way the jail cells could hold them any longer. One by one, we killed them off with an illegal substance called DDT. The government had banned it because of the harm it did to large creatures, when it’s only purpose was to kill bugs. It seemed to work, and after it was clear they were dead, we would drag their bodies into a pit in the back. We avoided the dogs until we felt strongest.

I sat and stared as a single scientist opened the door, not daring to glance our way. He was smart... but not smart enough. Without hesitation, the dogs around me brushed past, galloping towards him like horses. I got to my paws as the last of the dogs ran past. I narrowed my eyes in a smirk as the screams of scientists reached my awaiting ears. It was time that the hell hounds got payback.

There was nothing we could do but scream and cry. The dogs had gotten loose, and in their anger, they attacked us. Blood layered the floors and streaked the windows. Anyone caught by one of the ‘hell hounds’ was dead within moments. They torn the skin straight from our figures, and ate our insides until we bled dry. No one could escape, and any cries for help were muffled by the sounds of the factory working. As they ran through a broken-down door, they left behind dozens of corpses. The hell hounds were loose in the city, and they couldn’t be stopped. They fed on any living thing, and didn’t stop. An evacuation was ordered by the police, and soon Coal Creek had gone to the dogs...

But the Packs aren’t as alone as they thought. Allegiances are making their stand in Coal Creek, and they aren’t about to back down. Both need territory, but who will take it? Mean while, the entire human world is coming to World War Three. Bombing, shooting, and killing everywhere, little by little parts of Coal Creek are going up in smoke.

“With their bombs and their guns,
With their paws and their teeth,
Coal Creek will never be the same...”

I know none of us like to read the rules but there are consequences for broken laws, and important things which you must know only found here. Everyone must read these laws in order to create a character. The password to the Generate board is found here. It's you job to find the letters.

»TS Rules«

  • Do not flood, spam, or post non-sense. This is for everywhere, c-box, boards, role-play; everywhere. The only time you are allowed to post such things is when they creator of the thread or staff say you're allowed.
  • PG-13 content only. Because most, if not, all of our members are 13-15 years of age, inappropriate content, sexual and racial comments, nude photos, and other manner you would not find right for a child to see is strictly forbidden.
  • I think this is one of the most logical rules. No personal information. Sure, we're all friends and know each other, but if you don't truly, 100% know these people, especially on the Internet, there is a chance that they might try to find you, and that isn't a good thing. EVER! First letter of password is: d. Giving out a couple pictures, your first name, and the country/state/province you live in is okay, but don't give any details. EX: I live in Calgary on main street in the green house and go to the school on 21st street and 35th avenue.
  • ONLY advertise in the advertise board. That means no posing in the c-box 'By the way, can you guys join my site' or 'click my name'. Even when you're posting in RP, I know some people like to put the URL of their site at the beginning of the thread. If you do, you'll be banned for 1 week's time. No exceptions, even if you are a friend.
  • Be respectful to both the staff, other members, and guests here at TS. I know it's a lame rule, but how would you like it if we played Bi.tch to each other?
  • Swearing is allowed, in and out of character. But don't over-do it. I don't want swearing in each and every sentence you say, let alone multiple times in a sentence. You could get banned if you go over the limit of 12 swear-words every 24 hours.
  • Try your best to be literate and clear. Good grammer and spelling are always respected. I hate people who talk like this when role-playing: 'teh doggeh t@lkeb too teh otter doggeh nammed kyle, sew hee sad wuts upe and kyle t@lked zayin notin' much.' See how much of a pain that was on the eyes and hard to read? The second letter to the password is: n. I would much rather see: 'The other dog was talking to another dog that went by the name of Kyle. "What's up, Kyle?" He greeted. Kyle shrugged and replied, "Nothing much." ' Much more literate and easier to read. Another thing I'd rather not see is multi-colored text or sticky keys.

»IC Rules«

  • No power playing. For you n00bs who don't know what power-playing is, it's when you play someone else's character, or other characters without the owner's or staff's permission. Let's say you have a character named Daisy. This is what I like to call 'group power playing' or 'unofficial power playing'. EX: 'Daisy was walking through the alley when she heard the screams of another cat. The third letter to the password is: a. She ran down the dark alley and around the corner to find a dog biting into the flesh of a weak male.' That's when you don't play a specific character, but in the end, there has to be an actual character in that position who you power played. The same thing goes for randomly 'running' into someone in a thread. You cannot say that character was there unless the owner of the dog says it's okay.
  • You may swear in character, but don't over do it. A couple words here and there is okay, but I don't want to see excessive swearing in every sentence. Please remember that some people don't like swearing. And if they don't like it, then don't swear when you're around them. You'll be banned for a week.
  • I hate to see short posts, especially when they can't move the role-play any more. No one can reply to short posts. Short posts don't have as much feeling, action, or conversation. When there isn't enough of that, there isn't anything for anyone to reply to, and thus the action stops. Because we don't want dead role-play, there is a minimum word count of [200] words for every role-play post. It isn't that hard. Just explain the scene, how your character feels, or even past memories. And no complaining about this. It could be worse, trust me. I was going to make it 500 words, but I wanted to go easy on you guys.
  • Even though these aren't normal dogs, you have to treat them normal. That means you can't have any abnormal colors or patterns. No '6-legged, 4-headed, 8-eyed freaks of nature dogs that don't change from demonic form ever'. It's annoying and just simply unnatural. Top position canines can have powers given to them by a 'higher power', but you must get the permission of a staff member to do this and you cannot use your powers to kill or hurt other dogs unless given permission by the owner.
  • Okay, I think this is pretty simple. Your character is only allowed to be in one place at a time. It gets confusing and complex if you have them in different places at once. If you think that the topic is over or dead, you should put in bold letters at the end [LT] for lock thread. This way the boards don't become too cluttered, it becomes easier for staff to lock and move threads, and role-play can continue with the characters that were included in this thread.
  • Dogs mating is a part of life. Well, here your dogs are allowed to mate, but don't be too graphic about it. Even though everyone here is mature and know what that is, we don't need to hear every single detail. If you feel the need to be graphic, please put in the title [DM] for detailed mating. Once you've mated, your character can become pregnant. The forth letter to the password is: x. After [1] day, you can give birth to your borns, and role-play them in [5] days. Your borns become trainees in [6] weeks, or 6 months in role-play time. Forced mating is allowed, but you must consult the character's owner you're going to force mate with and ask if it's alright.
  • You are only allowed to have [1] top position character. If we feel that top position characters are not active enough, we will delete them without a second thought. Because top positions are much more important, the role-players have to be much more active then other members, thus the system[see creator's guide]. The fifth, final, letter to the password is: x.
