Hehe.. this is a bit overdue, hey? So this site is sort of... dead. Just sort of sizzled out. For our affiliates: Feel free to remove our banner or affi our new site. For our members: I hope to see you on the new site. It's called Demon in my View. Yeah, I linked back on our affis and adverts with the whole "DiMV; A Feline RPG". It's a feline roleplay. Unlike this roleplay which is fantasy and demons, this is a relatively real roleplay revolving more about them worshiping gods and sinning, so God punishes them with the second plague.

We are now open! With a bit of work and alot of help (-cough-thankyouspyder-cough-) The Sacrifice is now ready for members. All we need to do now is get the members here. Again, thanks for the help Spyder. I'm not sure how I would have done this without you =D

I'm officially re-making the site. Right Mistake is no more. From now on we are now known as The Sacrifice. Most of the site will stay the same, just a little bit of altering. Instead of cats, it's a dog roleplay. I would like to officially thank Spyder for making our beautiful banner and mini-banner. (Spyder recieves +10 karma)
»Plot«

I edged across the dark alley, unsure of what lied ahead of my own paws. The moon hid behind dark, heavy sheets of cloud. Not one human or rat seemed to wander the streets that night. I shivered at the thought of where they had disappeared. Without a sound, I rounded the corner. I tensed as I saw a pair of feet before me. I looked up into the eyes of a large man. I knew what was to await me.

It was so many years ago when the experiments began. It was a time when science was most important; a time when we had lost all traces of our humanity. Animals of all sorts were captured, the majority of experiments performed on the canines. We wanted to create a master race of animals, with everyone’s reasons differing. Some wanted larger pets, others wanted more food and others just wanted to fool around, but no one wanted what was to come...

I shriveled in fear as masked people, at least six, gathered around me to hold me down. One of the taller men pulled a needle full of liquid from his blood-covered white lab coat. I let out a yowl, jerking and kicking to try to escape the grasp of those hands. But my attempts fell short as I departed into unconsciousness. I wouldn’t wake up the same…

We had created something no one thought possible. These creatures we once called animals changed before our very eyes. No one knew what to expect when they looked into the cages next. It was soon that no one dared to feed the mongrels, afraid to dare look into those hypnotizing eyes. These dogs were like demons, and our torturing only made them angry.

I barked furiously at the gates of this cell along side the bodies of both the dead and living. I didn’t feel like myself anymore. All I wanted, all I felt was blood and rage. I could smell the hot blood flowing through the veins of the masked people, the only thing holding me back was the metal bars that imprisoned us. When one of our own had fallen, we feasted on their remains. I licked over my chewed lips at the sudden smell of approaching humans. Something was about to happen.

We had no other choice. The animals had become a serious threat. There was no way the jail cells could hold them any longer. One by one, we killed them off with an illegal substance called DDT. The government had banned it because of the harm it did to large creatures, when it’s only purpose was to kill bugs. It seemed to work, and after it was clear they were dead, we would drag their bodies into a pit in the back. We avoided the dogs until we felt strongest.

I sat and stared as a single scientist opened the door, not daring to glance our way. He was smart... but not smart enough. Without hesitation, the dogs around me brushed past, galloping towards him like horses. I got to my paws as the last of the dogs ran past. I narrowed my eyes in a smirk as the screams of scientists reached my awaiting ears. It was time that the hell hounds got payback.

There was nothing we could do but scream and cry. The dogs had gotten loose, and in their anger, they attacked us. Blood layered the floors and streaked the windows. Anyone caught by one of the ‘hell hounds’ was dead within moments. They torn the skin straight from our figures, and ate our insides until we bled dry. No one could escape, and any cries for help were muffled by the sounds of the factory working. As they ran through a broken-down door, they left behind dozens of corpses. The hell hounds were loose in the city, and they couldn’t be stopped. They fed on any living thing, and didn’t stop. An evacuation was ordered by the police, and soon Coal Creek had gone to the dogs...

But the Packs aren’t as alone as they thought. Allegiances are making their stand in Coal Creek, and they aren’t about to back down. Both need territory, but who will take it? Mean while, the entire human world is coming to World War Three. Bombing, shooting, and killing everywhere, little by little parts of Coal Creek are going up in smoke.

“With their bombs and their guns,
With their paws and their teeth,
Coal Creek will never be the same...”

»The Opera«

This house of Opera used to show plays, bringing a mixture of dramatic acting and great singing to the stage. The great things discovered here, and the beauty have now long since disappeared, leaving nothing but lost dreams. Backstage you'll find brushes, music-boxes, and costumes, but you won't find the beings they belonged to. The spacious house echoes as canines speak to one-another. The blown-out wall in the backroom is used as an entrance and, even in winter, the heat stays inside. Because of the Opera's warmth and room, the Lujuria allegiance use this place as their home.

»Junkyard«

Cars upon cars upon cars. Old cars used to be towed and dropped off here to be molded into square blocks some day. Located on the edge of town, many people found it easy to find and access. It turns out that everyone in Coal Creek had an old, useless car. Thus the Junkyard became successful. In fact, it was so successful that even when the town died, it stayed in business. The Junk Yard is still used today by people from near-by towns and farms. This active place, filled with cars, trucks, wood and metal parts, is the location of the Soberia allegiance.

»Old Apartments«

Crying babies with their mothers, homeless adults, and abandoned children liked to stay here when they had no where else to go. Crappy lighting, and barely enough food, the place went out of business due to a terrible cockroach and rat infestation. Long since the old building has been forgotten, and local pranks lead to the interior burning of this great place. Walls, doors, and half of the stairs are burnt down, but canines of Envirdia allegiance take advantage of it by taking the burnt stairs to the top floor, walking along the ceiling's half-fallen board to the roof top, which they spy down on the city from. The Envirdia allegiance uses this place as their home.

»Factory«

Shards of glass, old wood, and metal lay piled infront of this building. A tall, chain-link fence blocks beings from entering, but a hole in the fence, just large enough for a hell hound to fit under, allows prey, cats, and dogs in. Inside this dark, metal house are stairs, raptors, and, above all, toxic waste. Inside large barrels, leaking yellow and green liquids, are deadly and mutant acids. After a science experiment to alter the DNA of dogs turned them demonic, the canines broke loose and ate the scientists alive. This is how the canines of Coal Creek got how they are today. This is where dogs of Avaricia allegiance live.

»Nightclub«

Young teenagers used to come here, sneak in, and dance till morning. The loud music could be heard from miles, and kept the coyotes away. But like all great things, it had it's end many years ago. The reason: Only nights away from New Years, five killers broke in, and shot 21 people, killing all of them. The next day the club was shut down and no one dared to step foot in it again, for the reek of death still hangs in the air. Hell hounds feed their craving for devil's prey with blood here.

00
[ ]
»Gas Station«

The reaking stench of foul liquid beings use to feed their beasts lingers in the air. Large metal stations, damaged and leaking gas, stand infront of the small building used by beings many years back. As much as the rats and mice like the liquid, it's just as poisonous as the blood of Coal Creek's canines. The sandbags piled by the shattered windows are useful steps to enter in by. There is only one way out, but only a few canines know. Some canines of Coal Creek use the store as a 'prey-trap', seeing as once others get in, they can't get out.

»Car Wash«

Mud-coated beasts near and... just near, would come here to get clean by their beings. The soapy luke-warm water flew out of hoses at high speed, cleaning away dirt and gunk. Unfortunately for the keepers, there were too little dirty cars in Coal Creek to pay the bills, thus they were shut down. The rusted down cars left here, including the old tow-truck with the large hook, still hold mud on their sides. Other canines and stray cats like to sleep inside the being beasts, so most hell hounds come out here to feast on them.

00
[ ]
»Rollar Rink«

Shattered glass and layers of dust lay on the floor here. In the middle of this large room, is a round rink with a wooden floor. Next to the door is a stand of rollar skates in various sizes. Centering this rink is a small juice bar, where the families would get their refreshments. After an incident involving a wheel, juice, loose screw, and a disco ball, the rollar rink was shut down, then becoming only a distant memory for the community of Coal Creek. Canines come here to get light snacks like mice or magpies to settle their stomachs.

00
[ ]
»Baseball Field«

The roar of the crowd used to ring in the ears of child baseball players. They loved the thought of a ball heading high speed for your face. The rush of hitting wood against leather, running like your life depends on it to the next base. But the sport started to die, and the kids grew up to play pro. On the side of the baseball field are the stands, filled with old rotten food and sticky soda pop, and the dugouts where left are only old equipment and posters. Canines that take refuge here usually keep watch for trespassers or prey from the stands.

00
[ ]
»Playground«

Deadly silence is broken by the wind gently pushing the swings, like the children did all those years ago. A rusted slide holds nothing but rust and dirt. The once joyful place of adventure is now only a distant memory, and a terrifying nightmare in the dreams of visitors. Families of beings often venture out here for over-night camping and a short rest-stop. The canines of Coal Creek like to train here, both for speed, and fear. When you're scared, you don't have time to think, or calculate. You do whatever you can, and you do it your best.

»Airport«

Years ago, this was an international airport. Now, it is nothing but a structure. But a structure which Ira pack dogs call home. Miles and miles of runway, and a large stretch of building which can hold millions of humans, let alone dogs. There are many small stores, bathrooms, resting areas, and floors in this overly large airport. Dirty floors, smudged with the mud of many paws which have walked this place for years. There are many hunting and training grounds found on the runways and airport parking lots. The canines use a broken jet outside as camp, and come through a door which was ripped open.

»Military Base«

Men used to run back and forth here, machine guns held firmly in their hands. Tanks traveled along the grounds. Sandbags were piled along the boarders for extra protection, and the dirt ground turned up fresh by the rush. After a serious bombing, they admitted defeat. This abandoned military base is what the Pezera pack calls home. They use a hidden underground cave as their home, which the military used to use to make plans in. They hunt in the buildings around them, and train in the airplane hangers found around the base.

»Mall«

Teenagers used to lurk in this mall like moths on a light bulb. The girls never had enough shoes, and the guys never had enough music. After the town failed, owners gave up on the mall. But the Gula pack saw this large place as a home, a territory. Their swift paws took over this place, and still have it. They use the amusement park known as Galaxy-land as their camp. Rats, mice, birds, and coyotes that sneak in to find food are their main source of prey. They like to train at the dried up water-park or the empty areas found near the stairs.
